I got out for the first time this year with my camera…and a canoe. Spring is slowly creeping back to Texas. Soon it will be 100 degrees in the shade. But for now, we will enjoy the warm days of spring. I went out to a familiar place to see if the Bald Eagles I have photographed for the past three years had returned to the nesting site. I was so excited to see that the pair of majestic birds had returned. They were about their usual business of taking turns sitting on their yet to be hatched offspring.

Seeing these awesomely designed creatures never ceases to amaze me, always bringing to mind that verse in Isaiah, chapter 40, verse 31:

Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.
